We're thinking we are goddamn glad Trump didn't win. As Bolton put it:

The U.S. would've been on its way to becoming an authoritarian government too. Trump had weakened democracitic institutions for four years by placing oligarch lobbyists completely loyal to him as head of all our institutions instead of traditional neutral leaders.

If we left NATO like Trump wants, Putin could continue to invade European countries at will.

And Russia borders Canada which would be in-between two authoritarian countries!

I still believe this nightmare can happen since the GOP has drifted towards far right-wing extremism. We'll have to see if Putin's war reverses the GOPs appeal to extremism.
