Biden sued by 8 states over program that allows Central American children to legally reunite with parents in the US

Republican attorneys general in eight states on Friday filed a lawsuit requesting a federal judge stop a Biden administration program that allows children of legal immigrants from Central America living in the US to reunite with their parents.

The attorneys general in Arkansas, Alaska, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, and Texas sued over the program, called the Central American Minors Refugee and Parole Program.

Here's an idea. Let's reunite these parents with their children then deport them together.

I dun get it, why couldn't they get their parents over if the children are legal? Do the parents send them to the US to bring them over or something?

It is to allow children to come here to join parents.It does away with any kind of having a certain amount to be here and how do we really know they are related.
