Will the democrat controlled USA government give people universal healthcare?

And get the USA out of third world status? Would be interesting. At least we'd save a lot of money.

In a word, "not."

Even in 2009, when there were 60 Democrats in the Senate (for like 6 weeks) it wasn't really "Democrat Controlled" Individual Senators have ridiculously stupid power. Also, everyone is always focused on the next election, and swing states in the Electoral College. California and Texas might have the largest numbers, but they are not swing states, so they generally will not get as much money (per capita) as swing states like Florida, Iowa, Ohio, etc. In other words, even when the Democrats are the majority, a Republican district in Iowa will likely get more money than a Democratic district in California.

Sure and they can have printing presses set up in the basements of every hospital to make thousands of 100 dollar bills to pay the doctors and staff. Might as well.
