John Lennon
Christopher Hitchens.

Just imagine what they would have to say about the state of the world today. Liberals, conservatives, and everyone in between and outside the political spectrum.

I'd say Abraham Lincoln but he'd probably kill himself.

The others mentioned would all plausibly still be here had they not been cut short.

Lennon would be 80.
Carlin would be 83.
Hitchens would be 72.
Zappa would be 80.

Lincoln on the other hand would be over 200.
And following on from that, though his reaction would be unfavorable, it is a moot point considering how completely he was of a different era and culture, unlike the others.
