Norway:
3 years of training
4 fatalities caused by police bet. 2002-2016
Finland:
3 years degree is required.
7 people killed by police bet. 2000-2018
Germany:
2 years of training
267 people killed by police since 1990
USA:
high school diploma and 10-36 weeks of training depending on state
1,004 people killed in 2019 alone

shareI listened to Capitol Police Officer Daniel Hodge’s testimony. No doubt it was a horrific, frightening ordeal for him and for the other officers. My empathy goes out to all police officers who have to deal with situations such as what occurred on Jan. 6, 2021.
The one point I disagree with was him calling the mob terrorists. They were no more terrorists than those who participated in the Boston Tea Party. They were no more terrorists than those who fought in the Revolutionary War against the king of England.
He suffered no more than our police officers did during the rioting of 2020. Those officers had to stand down while, feces, urine, broken glass, projectiles were lobbed at them. Every damn night officers were injured. Some seriously. One lost his eye.
Question: Were hearings held for them to give testimony about the abuse they endured, some murdered, by the true terrorists BLM & Antifa. Was a fund drive started to bail out the Jan. 6 rioters as it was started for the Burners, Looters, Murderers of 2020 by VP Harris?
