Good Americans wanted slavery too and look how that turned out.
Still slavery my friend. It's everywhere. From non-paid college sports athletes to packed migrant workers in farms and meat factories to selling jobs overseas for cheaper pay with mass production to pee in bottle Amazon workers to human trafficking (Biden approved), etc. etc. Slavery is alive and well in the modern age. 9 million job openings with some business folks not wanting to pay a living wage but 7.25 is good money they say so instead red state governments force the cogs back into work by ending unemployment benefits.

shareI agree that Republicans seem to act against freedom for those they dislike at almost every turn, but I have a bit of a disagreement with you on the border issue.
I don't think the border should be closed at all, but I do think that countries have different rules for immigration and there has to be some acceptable medium between a closed border with a stupid wall on it and everyone South of the border moving to America, at least all at once.
Meanwhile it's the Biden admin refusing to let Cuban refugees in
