Over half my property taxes goes to the police, why do they never actually HELP ANYONE?!

Why is it that our property taxes are going to destroying the lives of our fellow citizens and even our own lives?
Why is it that every day police officers wake up and say to themselves, "Today, I am going to destroy as many lives as possible as I can!"
"If I can not destroy their lives then I am going to destroy their day."

Why is it that police have no problem going out of their way to hurt people but when they are asked for help they pass the buck, ignore the request or shoot the victim as what happened to that Australian woman who had called the police because she was reporting a rape?
