Biden's Strong Leadership Is Defeating Covid

Thankfully, Biden knew that covid needed a FEDERAL RESPONSE so he worked diligently even before taking office to make that happen.

Look how fast covid cases have diminished since Biden has taken office!
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/coronavirus-us-cases.html

Biden has implemented the FEDERAL Production Act and has supported SCIENCE in the fight against covid. Biden knows that epidemics and pandemics are a part of NATIONAL security.

I bet you didn't know that he has also implemented a fight against Ebola so that we Americans and the rest of the world remains safe against it.

Biden's STRONG AMERICAN LEADERSHIP is a blessing!

reply

Yes. He's doing a great job and I'm happy that he really cares about people, and is smart enough to actually produce positive change.

reply

Oh, you numbskull nitwit! Is it beyond your thinking maybe the vaccines are working which were fast tracked by Trump? Biden has nothing to do with the slowing of cases. He’s only been in office for 6 weeks! In fact he said there weren’t any vaccines when he took office. Odd thing though...he was vaccinated before he took office. Keep tip toeing through the tulips!

BTW, Biden isn’t capable of working diligently. Maybe you’ve drank so much Kool Aid you cannot see the pitiful man has dementia or the onset of Alzheimer's. Not mocking...just the facts.

reply

"there weren’t any vaccines when he took office."

Exactly! There were fewer than Trump's administration said and they admitted to the lie. And Trump had no plan to distribute them to Americans. Very few Americans were vaccinated under Trump who was running way behind schedule.

Biden bought MORE vaccines and created transportation, supplies, staffing and infrastructure to vaccinate as many Americans as quickly as possible - 100 million vaccinated in 100 days. But, he's running ahead of schedule so he revised to 150 million Americans in 100 days!

Instead of your repeating Trump's gaslight, I suggest you look at this graph which shows covid moving up during Trump's time in office and how quickly it has moved down since Biden has taken over.
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/coronavirus-us-cases.html

There is a huge difference between Trump telling Americans to inject disinfectant, "liberate" states and not wear masks against Biden's use of the power of the presidency to buy and distribute millions of vaccines to the American people as well as the rest of the world.

Biden is also taking charge of controlling Ebola instead of ignoring it like Trump. If Trump were still president, we would have to worry about Ebola, too!

BTW, Trump failed his cognitive test! The only senile one is Trump since he believes injecting disinfectant is a good idea.

reply

National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins is praising the Trump administration for the “breathtaking” speed at which a COVID-19 vaccine was developed.

During an interview with Axios, Collins was asked what the Trump administration got right amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“The Operation Warp Speed, for which I give a great deal of credit to Secretary Azar, was a effort that many of us were not initially convinced was going to be necessary and it was thought about as a Manhattan Project,” Collins said on Sunday.

You bought the lie and it was a whopper! Trump did not TELL people to inject themselves with disinfectant! He didn’t tell people not to wear masks. Lord Fauci said it wasn’t necessary. Then he changed his mind...then changed it again. Biden is suffering from some sort of dementia. Face it! Look at him when he speaks. He gets confused. You are looking at Biden with rose colored glasses.

The largest mass vaccination campaign in U.S. history is underway now that two COVID-19 vaccines have been authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration. Inoculations for millions of health-care workers, long-term care facility residents, and other high-priority Americans (like President-elect Biden) are underway, using the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, which the FDA authorized for emergency use on December 11, and the second vaccine, made by Moderna, authorized on December 18.

” Pfizer, Trump Administration Reach Deal for 100 Million More Doses

After weeks of wrangling, Pfizer and the outgoing Trump administration have agreed that the pharmaceutical giant will provide 100 million more vaccine doses — enough for 50 million people — to the U.S. by the end of July. The deal significantly ups the portion of Americans who can be inoculated with vaccines that have already been proven effective.

reply

Nothing was fast-tracked by Trump. Moderna got all that money last summer for a vaccine they created the January before. Pfizer came out with the superior vaccine, and Trump either lied or misspoke when he said they received government funds. And now Johnson and Johnson have a vaccine.

Then the coup de grace was Trump failing to secure doses from Moderna and Pfizer only getting 100 million a piece, leaving them to supply Europe first.

A few months ago they said herd immunity by August. Now we're hearing May or April. Johnson and Johnson might end up being the game changer.

National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins is praising the Trump administration for the “breathtaking” speed at which a COVID-19 vaccine was developed.

reply

That's fine. And I'm sure you'll be citing all the health directors who praise Biden when we reach herd immunity, right?

reply

Those companies were working on the science for years which is the reason they easily created a covid vaccine. Nothing to do with inject a disinfectant Trump.

BTW, many of those vaccine companies were founded by IMMIGRANTS. You hate immigrants, remember?

reply

I don’t hate immigrants legal or illegal. Illegals are breaking federal law and should be deported.

reply

So then you are saying that the law is fair and just correct? No exceptions?

reply

No exceptions for breaking federal law.

FYI:

https://www.loc.gov/law/help/illegal-entry/chart.php

reply

See and I do not share that mentality. Law does have to be enforced but just because something is a federal law does not mean it is just or fair. Prime example is the drug laws.

https://www.recovery.org/addiction/us-drug-laws/

reply

But, it is the law until changed. But, why bother? The Dems are opening the doors wide and saying “Y’all come!” In the meantime our U.S. citizen kids in this country are suffering.

reply

It is the law until changed but you are acting like it is just and fair. That is a rather silly tactic because law and morality do not always coincide with one another. Once certain laws get changed over time the person who got the short end of the stick should not be forever punished because they were just unfortunate to fall victim under an unjust law at a specific time. I just proved my case with the drug laws. Why are certain states legalizing Marijuana? It is simple we are slowly realizing that locking people in prison for smoking it is rather excessive. So if someone had a felony on their record simply for smoking, should they now be black listed for life in a state where it now became legal? Just because you act within the law does not make what you do Moral, and vice verse.

reply

I agree about Marijuana. People should not be jailed for smoking the stuff. I used to say years ago I would rather be a passenger in a vehicle when the driver had smoked a joint over a driver under the influence of alcohol. But, in today’s time I understand weed is much stronger, laced with extras making it on par with alcohol...also is addictive.

Back to illegally crossing the border. We are a sovereign nation which has the right to say who may enter. Illegals negatively impact the taxpayers and the nation. It’s been proven it takes 3 generations before the are no longer a drain on society. The law is just and fair. Do you realize as of today the Catch & Release program is back into effect? Some have Covid-19! The Border Patrol have been ordered by the Bidenites to do just that!

reply

See and the fact that you agree with me about Marijuana showcases that the law is not always just and fair. So when people say the law is the law! I can't help but feel like that is a way of implying it is infallible and can not be questioned. I do not buy into that rhetoric sorry. Now am I saying the law should not upheld no, but not every law as I stated earlier is just and fair. It is why federal laws have changed on certain things throughout history. Prohibition failed with alcohol and it failed with marijuana. We need to learn from that and not repeat the same mistake.

See the issue I have is why is this always an immediate concern over the drug war, or many other things in the world. Also this feels like a scapegoat to begin with. Wasn't Mexico supposed to pay for the wall we were building? Also you never responded to this.

https://www.povertyusa.org/facts

Facts no opinions.

reply

We have reached an impasse. No further debate. Illegals are responsible for over 2000 U.S. citizen deaths a year. They have no RIGHTS to be in our country illegally! I’m tired of paying for them when our citizens are hurting. And...yeah, Mexico was supposed to pay for the wall.🙄

reply

Mexico was supposed to pay for the wall. However as you can see that promise went unfulfilled. I get tired of how much money we are spending on the drug war and how many people die from it. See but I have an honest question for you. Do you just like to align with people who validate your view? I ask because you seem unwilling to engage in a debate that lasts longer than a few posts and typically engage in sticking your tongue out at the left. I have my issues with both sides but I just find this behavior bizarre. Don't you like debating or do you only like validation from your side and taunting the opposing side?

reply

I don’t mind debating especially when I learn something from the debate. But, after awhile the debate reaches a dead end. You aren’t going to change your mind about the illegal situation and neither am I so an impasse has been reached.

There is no way on earth you are going to convince me otherwise. They should be deported if not here legally and the employers should be fined. They are costing us billions. At one time they with their Green Cards came into the country and picked our crops and sent the money back home. Now they are the roofers, the plumbers, the tradesmen taking jobs because they can be hired more cheaply.

BTW, you are one of those who like to argue for argument’s sake. 🤷🏼‍♀️

reply

I never said that. You just openly said though you are not going to change your mind. See this in lies the problem. You go around spouting this stuff and then when someone else on the opposing side digs their heels in like you do you become juvenile and start sticking your tongue out like a elementary school kid.

They took a lot of the jobs Americans would not do. The big businesses hire them because they know they can pay them next to nothing to get a job done.

Nope I am not actually. I just find it interesting how people like you expect to change other people's minds but are unwilling to change yours. Seems a bit hypocritical and well as arrogant to me. It gives off the vibe that you can't be wrong and everyone else must listen to you because you are infallible. If you will not change your stance on it why do you bring it up? I offer to debate people on healthcare all the time and they get pissed off because they dislike when someone does not simply bow down to their point of view. Healthcare is a huge issue to this country among many other things that we are talking about.

reply

What are you talking about? (writing). Why are you calling me a juvenile who sticks their tongue out. How did you come up with that? You don’t know me. You have your opinions and I have mine. You are doing exactly the same thing you’re accusing me of doing. I don’t give a rat’s patootie if you agree with me or not. You’re pissed because I won’t agree with you. This is why I wrote we’ve reached an impasse. You are the one who took this beyond a debate to an argument laced with insults toward me. I never insulted you or lobbed ad hominem attacks at you. I don’t expect anyone to change their minds who differ from me. And I have a right not to change my mind. To each his own. I’m not infallible...far from it. I err daily.

BTW, it’s a myth they took jobs Americans wouldn’t do. They took jobs from Americans. I blame the employers.

reply

I am talking about the antics of you on these boards. Nope I am pointing out it being silly that you dig your heels in and then spout your views expecting to change other people's view. I said I openly debate healthcare with people on here. I am open to another perspective and having my mind changed if someone presents a logical point unlike you. Nope I am perfectly fine with you disagreeing as I said I love debating. I do not expect everyone to agree with me.

You have bought into the myth that immigrants bankrupt the country. Here check this out. https://www.aclu.org/other/immigrants-and-economy

reply

I have an opinion like everyone has on this board. If I believe in something I have a right to dig my heels in. Too bad you think it silly to believe differently from others. When I opine that’s all it is. You deem my posts are an enforcement to others to believe “My way, or the highway!” Not so! As I wrote I give an opinion just as everyone does. If I read you correctly I should be seen, but not heard.

I’m beginning to think you are a nasty troll who chose me as a target. You might find the following article insightful:

How Trolls Are Ruining the Internet

https://time.com/4457110/internet-trolls/

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/report-illegal-immigrants-cost-taxpayers-6-500-a-year-each

Illegal immigrants cost taxpayers $6.5K a year each: Report

” Illegal immigration, in particular, drives down wages and inhibits job opportunities for legal residents, while bringing more low-skilled, low-wage workers to these states. In turn, this increases costs to state and local governments, and discourages investment by businesses seeking a skilled labor force and lower overhead.”

reply

You do have an opinion and you can dig your heels in. I just find it silly that you are discussing something you have no interest in changing your mind on. I find people like you irritating because you want to have a closed mind but expect everyone else to have an open mind to whatever your opinion is. So in other words it becomes this scenario, validate me or get beat down.

Not a troll at all, I have had plenty of great conversations on here that have remained civil even in disagreement. I personally think you are an instigator though.

Way to bypass the source I gave you. Okay do you know how much an illegal immigrant pays in taxes per year? Do you know how many new jobs they bring to the US? One of those facts was covered in one of the sources I provided you.

reply

None of your stats mean anything. The other side voted, won in a landslide, and currently has a higher approval than at any time during the previous guy's term.

All you seem to know how to do is support losing candidates who pretend they won, and then whine that the administration that did win isn't doing enough for your losing ideology.

reply

At least I won’t have guilt over putting a person in office who clearly is showing Dementia or the onset of Alzheimer’s. It’s serious when both sides want to remove War Powers from Biden.

“A bipartisan group of senators have introduced a bill to remove war powers from President-imposed Joe Biden.

The move comes in response to a unilateral strike on Syria by Biden, which had enjoyed relative peace during the Trump administration. Biden’s crazed warmongering has alarmed Republicans and Democrats who want to stop the permanent occupation of the Middle East and other areas across the world by U.S. forces.”

BTW, Harris is taking the phone calls from world leaders.

reply

You should realize by now that rump will LIE at every opportunity to self-aggrandize. It's pathological, we should almost - and I say ALMOST - feel sorry for him, how obvious he needs affirmation from others to feel good about himself. It's sickening, like a service dog that still whines if you don't pet it. Effing thing should know better.

reply

Is this sarcasm?

reply

You prefer injecting Lysol like Trump suggests?

That's sarcasm.

reply

The question was a Sheldon Cooper joke, but Biden hasn't done a damn thing about covid in his 38 days in office.

reply

You need to stop watching Fox or you'll never know anything. For instance, I know he sent the army to help distribute the vaccine in CA to help control their severe outbreak. No golf, TV or tweets from busy as a bee Biden.

Trump made the suggestion during a news conference. He was very serious. BTW, joking when hundreds of thousands are dead is inappropriate.

reply

Yawn.....

You're putting us all to sleep.

reply

You're dumber than a bucket of pubic hair

reply

It's still a wait and see. But we're hearing a lot about herd immunity as early as May or even April when a few months ago it was supposed to be August.

There is something not right with this poster...their history on here is very telling.

You're hilarious.

And racist.
