For my money this is definitely the funniest political movie ever made!
That is a great movie. I love Reese Witherspoon especially. Alexander Payne has made some excellent films. Specifically, Election and Nebraska are my favorites. I haven't seen The Descendants, but I keep meaning to. Sideways was really popular when it came out, and it's good, but I feel like it's sort of forgettable this many years down the road.
shareSideways and Election are my fav's. Paul Giamatti freaking out and saying "No Fucking Merlot" is a classic scene for me, makes me laugh every time. Thomas Haden Church, Virginia Madsen & Sandra Oh are great in it too. Cool side note, first DVD release of the movie had a wine scent right on the disc. Trip's me out that 15 years later I can still take out the DVD and the scent isn't gone.
