Republican hypocrisy in their complaints about "Defund The Police"
We don't hear much about "Defund The Police" any more now that it's purpose has been served by trying to undermine the Democratic Party. Republicans also undermined the people who must continue to fear the police instead of cooperating with them.
The hypocrisy is Republicans spin all Democrats as wanting to "Defund The Police", which is not even true, when Republicans, operating on a vastly bigger and more dangerous project, want to to "Defund The Country", in a coup-de-etat to take over the government and put it in the hands of the very rich, the people like Donald Trump.
It's been out there plain as the noses on our faces, long enough for everyone to plainly see, that the Republicans are merely cover for Libertarian/Oligarchs who want to, and have done, Defund The Government, and take it away from the people to give to those very Libertarian/Oligarchs. Money goes to the Democrats to, but merely to keep them alive as a fake opposition party to blame when things go wrong.
In case you do not know, Libertarianism can be thought of as the weakening, and possibly the abolishing of the government, which is the institution where all people are supposed to get a say, and a vote, and a role in the discussion of policy, and replacing the government with a battle of the richest and most powerful Oligarchs, like a bunch of small tyrannies answerable to no one.
Our government has been a facade-Democracy for most of it's existence, but its trajectory has not been all in one direction. During WWII that purpose pushed us to be the most Democratic and equal we ever were. Driven by the purpose of that American ideal - in opposition to unchecked authoritarianism and capitalism, that we had just fought.
But the very virus of authoritarianism , what we had just fought, was growing right inside our government but our own Libertarian/Oligarchs the industrial-financial ruling class, and they have essentially nipped our nascent democracy in the bud and reversed most of our gains and engineered most of our aims by having all of us fearing for our survival against each other.
We have been going backwards as a country thanks to Republican dirty tricks and lies like falsely blaming the Democrats for wanting to defund the police, while Republicans, or rather the money people behind them all along have been trying to defund most of the rest of us in ways that are still increasing.
