Dow up over 1000 nearing 30,000 thanks to Pfizer vaccine results and President Trumps operation Light Speed.

Thanks to President Trumps forming of the Corona Virus Task Force formed in December 2019, lead by Mike Pence. Pharmaceutical companies are weeks away from a coronavirus vaccine. A process that normally takes years sped up directly by President Trumps actions and The Coronavirus Virus Task Force.

The Dow teases 30,000 up over 1000 points. The Trump Boom rolls on as the verification of fake votes for Biden begins.

Fun fact: states certify votes. Not the communist run Democrat Party media.

Thanks to Trump and his Corona Virus Task Force a vaccine should be ready soon. Of course Dementia Joe will take all the credit.

reply

The White House Coronavirus Task Force was founded, January 29 2020.

There is a GLOBAL stock surge because of Biden's win. Most people worldwide are happy to see a mentally stable incoming presidency.

Phizer had nothing to do with the Trump administration. An exec said they refused all the strings attached with the Trump admin. so they worked without them.

FACTS MATTER.

Gd5150 knows that. It's not about trying to convince anyone the DOW is up because of Pfizer. Gd5150 just wants people to argue over it.... while he keeps all leftists on ignore.

THE U.S. GOVERNMENT HAS agreed to pay Pfizer and BioNTech nearly $2 billion for 100 million doses of the companies' potential coronavirus vaccine.

The companies announced in a press release Wednesday that the U.S. placed an initial order of 100 million doses for $1.95 billion, following FDA authorization, with the chance to acquire up to 500 million additional doses.

loolz at no research.

reply

Thought it was a hoax?

reply

The U.S. deal comes AFTER Phizer developed a vaccine which is what I had already written. The vaccine was developed privately WITHOUT U.S. involvement, therefore Trump deserves no credit which the uninformed OP is trying to give him.

JUST THE FACTS!

reply

They will be paid $2b after the vaccine is ready, they are developing the vaccine to get paid not because Phizer cares about people. No matter how you spin it, the US Government is paying them $2b. Its basically going to be the Trump Vaccine.

JUST THE FACTS!

reply

Nevertheless, Phizer was not a part of Trump's Operation Lightspeed.

Anyway, Trump is actively slowing down deployment of the vaccine by denying Biden's transition team access to resources to plan the mass distribution.

reply

Doesn't really matter, Trump will pay Phizer once the vaccine is ready. Trump is still President, the media cannot elect a President, its up to the Electoral College. Remember them? Liberals were against the EC, now they want to keep it. lol

reply

TRUTH DOES MATTER! Phizer came up with the vaccine without Trump's involvement.

No, the American taxpayer will pay for the vaccine which doesn't include tax cheat Trump since he only pays Chinese taxes.

Voters elect the president! The Electoral College is a rubber stamp on the American voters' decision to choose America instead of Trump.

reply

C'mon man! Now you are being like doogie with all your doubletalk. You are better than this.

Be specific about what you disagree with and present your evidence to back it up instead of personal attacks.

reply

That's great news but it doesn't change the fact that Trump lost the election. Biden will be our next president no mater how much you and Trump are in denial. Even Fox News is indicating that Biden won. It's over.

reply

Not yet anyways, we still have to wait for the electoral college to make a decision.

reply

Your denial of reality is silly.

If Biden didn't win, then no elected official has won:

reply

Its not official yet, the media CANNOT elect a President. Its up to the electoral college that dems didn't like back in 2017.

reply

You're mindlessly repeating Fox propaganda.

Elections are decided by voters. Period.
The news media is only relaying information based on voting stats. Electoral college is toothless and will follow voters' decision.

I doubt if you were whining about this 4 years ago.

reply

More wins for Trump, while the media and resident MC trolls remains relatively silent. I have noticed that the media is also doubling down on the covid reporting post election.

Pelosi still refuses to release the second Covid stimulus Bill, even though people need it right now.

This is a troll post.

"Operation Light Speed" is actually "Operation Time Warp". Everyone knows this.

President Trump is actually conspiracy speak. I see this a lot when people on the right always refer to Trump as President Trump.

Weird. Because these people never referred to Obama as President Obama or even George W. Bush as President Bush.

I grew up on message boards like this in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and onward.

I don't remember seeing President Obama and President Bush mentioned as such on boards like these in years past.

reply

It's Operation Warp Speed and it had zero to do with Pfizer developing the vaccine.

That's like taking credit for the cooking of the meal that a restaurant serves you.

reply

The cutting of red tape had everything to do with the vaccine being weeks away rather than years away. No one disputes this.

A direct result of President Trumps Corona Virus Task Force.

reply

Fantasy. Which as did you pull that out of, Trump or Pence?

reply

3 years is normally considered warp speed for drug approval. Scientists at Pfizer don’t seem to think it’s a fantasy. They seem to think it’s having 90% success and will be available in weeks. That’s a 9 month turn around.

A covid vax before years end is the equivalent to making the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs.

You were saying?

reply

So you're saying Trump deserves credit for allowing there to be a vaccine?

reply

People seem to forget that Pfizer has access to super computers that can run millions of simulations. They can eliminate many unwanted reactions/interactions/ /toxicity/side effects before they even start to mix the chemicals. That takes years off of development time and accelerates the research compared to what it took even ten years ago.

reply

PS: I used the term "super computer" because that what they always call them. Is that term still current?

As of August, eight companies were chosen for funding of some $11 billion to expedite development and preparation for manufacturing their respective vaccine candidates.[15][16] In June, agreements of $1.2 billion for successful vaccine were signed with AstraZeneca and $483 million with Moderna.[17][18]

Some companies have not been funded for development efforts but have been pledged funds to manufacture and distribute a future vaccine if they successfully create one. In July, Operation Warp Speed agreed to pay $1.6 billion to Novavax to produce 100 million doses of its candidate vaccine if the clinical trials are successful.[19]

The vaccine developers engaged in the operation are:

Johnson & Johnson (Janssen Pharmaceutical)[17]
AstraZeneca–University of Oxford[18] and Vaccitech[17]
Moderna[17]
Pfizer-BioNTech[20]
Merck and IAVI[17]
Novavax[21]
Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline[22]
Indirectly funded companies include:

Vaxart (in collaboration with Emergent BioSolutions)[23]
Inovio[24][25][26]
As of October 2020, Operation Warp Speed had "spent less than $1 billion to support the development and manufacturing of three monoclonal antibody treatments, versus almost $10 billion on six vaccines."[27]

Regeneron was to receive $450 million to develop and supply a monoclonal antibody drug, as the government announced on July 7, 2020.[28]
On 9 November, the Pfizer-BioNTech partnership announced positive early results from its Phase III trial of the BNT162b2 vaccine candidate, with company representatives stating that “the company is part of Operation Warp Speed as a supplier of a potential coronavirus vaccine",[29] and that "Pfizer is proud to be one of various vaccine manufacturers participating in Operation Warp Speed as a supplier of a potential COVID-19 vaccine".[30] A spokesperson for Pfizer, however, clarified that they had "not taken federal money for R&D."[31]

reply

Exactly. Just because the restaurant I eat in says they're glad to serve me a meal on the condition that I pay for it, cause I'm hungry and need food, doesn’t mean I take credit for the cooking of the food.

On Monday, Vice President Mike Pence said on Twitter that the news came “thanks to the public-private partnership forged” by Mr. Trump.

In July, Pfizer got a $1.95 billion deal with the government’s Operation Warp Speed, the multiagency effort to rush a vaccine to market, to deliver 100 million doses of the vaccine. The arrangement is an advance-purchase agreement, meaning that the company won’t get paid until they deliver the vaccines. Pfizer did not accept federal funding to help develop or manufacture the vaccine, unlike front-runners Moderna and AstraZeneca.

Pfizer has distanced itself from Mr. Trump and Operation Warp Speed. In an interview on Sunday, Kathrin Jansen, a senior vice president and the head of vaccine research and development at Pfizer, said, “We were never part of the Warp Speed,” adding, “we have never taken any money from the U.S. government, or from anyone.”

On Monday, a spokeswoman for Pfizer clarified that the company is part of Operation Warp Speed as a supplier of a potential coronavirus vaccine.

Although it’s true that Pfizer and BioNTech had been working on a vaccine all year before the companies struck their deal with the U.S. government in July, a $1.95 billion deal is nevertheless a significant incentive to keep going. In fact, international health organizations have long used such market guarantees to encourage for-profit manufacturers to supply vaccines to the developing world.

The truth is that Pfizer didn’t receive any funding from Operation Warp Speed for the development, clinical trial and manufacturing of the vaccine. Rather, its partner, BioNTech SE, has received money -- from the German government.

Trump's Warp Speed is only paying to make the many doses that would come later aka he's only purchasing it to distribute it for the American public.
