COVID came from China. That's not in doubt. It is China's fault for letting it get out and spread globally, when preventing it was possible. They screwed over the world.

Yes, it was possible by the narrowest fraction, however, it is very unlikely and nearly impossible with certain countries by which there is much trade and a very high population, not to mention that it is the origin/source which makes that alone extremely difficult to completely isolate until after it is too late.
This is all taking into account that there are no extenuating conspiracy theories as to the further mutation of the virus in order to affect the human population the way it has, unlike it's variant predecessor.
Countries like New Zealand and Australia would have had a tiny fraction of a better chance at isolating it and controlling it completely.
Although I understand what you are saying, I disagree to an extent. China knew about it and supressed their media from reporting it to its full extent. They didn't close their borders or warn any global nations of its severity. They allowed it to spread to Europe and then the US. Had global nations got those warnings ahead of time, it most probably would've prevented the pandemic from being global.
