Chance of a Biden Electoral college win if he wins the popular vote by X points:

0-1 points: just 6%!
1-2 points: 22%
2-3 points: 46%
3-4 points: 74%
4-5 points: 89%
5-6 points: 98%
6-7 points: 99%

Basically he needs to win by a good margin.

That's what I think too

1 point: 0%
2 points: 0%
3 points: 50%
4 points: 80%
5 points: 100%

I think he needs a 4 point lead. I believe Hillary's lead was 2.2 points.

Nate Silver:
You'll sometimes see people say stuff like "Biden MUST with the popular vote by 3 points or he's toast". Not true; at 2-3 points, the Electoral College is a tossup, not necessarily a Trump win.

OTOH, the Electoral College is not really *safe* for Biden unless he wins by 5+.

reply

There could be a shift towards evening out the popular vote with the electoral count if Texas turns purple. But if that happens, I don't think repubs could win any more.

reply

He has that margin now, especially in the swing states. Trump has given up in Florida and Minnesota, where you won't find any more political commercials for him. Arizona seems to be a goner for Trump, too.

reply

Popular vote is not relevant.

The only way Biden wins is if the DNC cheats and they are already doing it.

So you may get what you want, if what you want is a fixed election.

reply

With everything going on--with everything Donald is saying and doing...and your one and only thing you have to say is that the DEMS will cheat? Really? No mention if trump and his very obvious election interference?

I sincerely hope for your sake that this backwards ass post of yours is deliberate trolling and nothing else.

If the MAGAs are too stubborn to see it could happen now, you're gonna be just as stubborn if it happens in November. I'm actually hoping the MAGAs put up a fight and throw every conspiracy theory they have at a Biden victory. I want to see how unstable and unhinged you MAGAtards can get. You've all convinced yourselves that Trump can't lose, even more than Hillary supporters were convinced she would win in 2016. It's like you've put faith in the heavens making it work out for you. The more you believe it, the greater the victory, and the more you will realize the stupidity of becoming a sycophant.

money talks like they say some states let delegates vote for whoever they want not what the votes are
