Just to give you an example of the idiocy of CA voters, a recent proposition was on the ballot to repeal a 5 cent gas tax. It was voted down. How stupid are people not willing to directly put money into their own pockets?

Yeah it won’t go red. Redistricting In 2000 gave Democrats a strong hold. They’ve had the majority in the legislature for over 20 years. Currently Republicans hold less than 25% of the seats.
The overall population is much more evenly divided.
