Dr. Fauci praises Gov Cuomo as NY brings down COVID cases and deaths

Dr. Fauci praised Governor Cuomo and his handling of the COVID epidemic in NY state, one of the hardest hit states when the pandemic started to spread.

At a press briefing today, Cuomo reported 722 hospitalizations across the state for the whole weekend, the lowest number since the pandemic began spreading in the middle of March. Only 13 deaths were reported, and the statewide positivity rate fell to 1.08%.

‘We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases,’ Dr. Fauci said in an interview. ‘We have done it. We have done it in New York. New York got hit worse than any place in the world. And they did it correctly.’

So does leadership. That's something Cuomo and Fauci have offered New Yorkers, while Trumptoads and republicans had none. They were left to their own devices - and failed bigly.
