Trump's 'kidding' on testing exposes his negligence as virus spikes

As the coronavirus pandemic surges in states that embraced his calls for aggressive early openings, President Donald Trump is mocking the very measures that might mitigate a crisis about which he is constantly in denial.

Trump said at his weekend rally that he had told his staff to slow down testing for the disease, which has now killed nearly 120,000 Americans, to hide the discovery of more cases. Claims by his advisers that he was joking hardly lessen the questionable motives behind the remark.

Trump continues to show his incompetence and lack of leadership.

It doesn't matter really though, driving clocks and such.

He's much less popular than he was in 2016.

He's obviously going to lose.

It's only unfortunate for him that he loses to the worst candidate the Democratic party has ever nominated.

...And that will be just a small (but important) part of his one term presidency.

Great. Fantastic. Over 100,000 Americans are dead due to this clown and he has plenty of time to "joke" about testing. Because that's just what America needs right now: a leader who likes to "joke" about this threat rather than take it seriously.

Donald is just chock full of "jokes" and loves to speak in "riddles" that only his base is "smart enough" to "understand" and decipher for the rest of us. "He didn't REALLY mean that!" and "He didn't really say that! He said THAT instead!".

I can't wait until this clown show is over. I feel like we've already had three terms of Trump.

Every time Trump opens his mouth is every time he's saying something stupid. Literally NOTHING comes out of that putrid, rancid, big mac rot-hole he calls a mouth BUT lies, stupidity and corruption.

the fact Trump is joking about lives is not funny if my neighborhood is filled with virus I would like to know so testing is a must, I live in an area where city people come for the summer and believe me I will distance myself from them no mask no brains idiots

While we all know he was NOT joking (obviously), let's say for a second he WAS joking: what competent leader of any sort of morality would tell a joke about something this deadly at a time like this. Our country is BLOOD TOMATO RED on the COVID-19 infections world map. It looks abysmal. NO leader would joke about this. He's sick in the head and so are his supporters.
