Insurrection Act was a key point in the re-electibility of Trump

Imo this really hurt his stance with the public, even those on the right or a growing number of them excluding his hardcore base and Mitch are against it as well as his chiefs of staff. I think at this point this really hurt his re-election chances. He's fucking everything he's worked not so hard for. My prediction is Biden has a much higher chance of winning now. Just imagine if Obama threatened to use this act on 2nd amendment gun nuts protesting on city hall where the governor resided and how the right would feel. They would be up in arms wouldn't they and saying some civil war uprising.

Trump is the ultimate buffoon. He had a guaranteed win against Biden. The DNC coalesced against Bernie to prop up their own buffoon Biden, and all Trump had to do was provide more masks and more ventilators and refrain from tweeting. He couldn't do any of it. He called the media's coverage of the coronavirus a hoax, he went on and on about how good hydroxychloroquine is, and is now doing everything he can to remove the dissent he's caused by all of his failures.

I agree. He was already a laughing stock before the 2016 election. But this year, he really hit an all-time low. He's lower than low. Even his precious supporters are suffering b/c of his incompetence. He's losing support. His chances of losing are pretty high. Can't wait till November to see how this plays out.

He hasn't actually invoked the Insurrection Act, although he should. It's been used several times by other presidents, in far less urgent circumstances.

Yes, Johnson used it during the uprising at the 1968 Democrat convention. It was then used after the Rodney King riots. What we have going on now is far worse and widespread. 70% polled want the National Guard on the streets. 50% want the US military on the streets. Something has to be done. The libs in charge are tying law enforcement hands. They are destroying property that can never be replaced.

For those of you supporting these hooligans wait until they hit your neighborhood (I hope they do). You will be screaming bloody murder “Help! Police!” I hope there aren’t any around and your house is set ablaze...damn you all to hell!

I say let it keep going. It'll turn votes for sure when they see democrat leaders do nothing to protect peoples property. I want to see the mob actually go into Hollywood for once and start ransacking them elites they so fondly have them bail them out of jail.

I saw on the news earlier they destroyed an expensive art gallery and paintings. There went someone’s business. A bridge in Oregon, seen from the air, is filled to the point they look like ants! They are adding to the shut down of the country. Normal people are arming themselves which is going to lead to more chaos. After the scumbag thugs are through with the businesses they will head to “white” neighborhoods. They are having free rein over the country. It’s spreading like a wildfire. And when you have idiot officials lowering our flag to half-staff for a criminal...we’ve lost the republic!
