shareIt's a news story in Australia. Players of the NRL (National Rugby League) cannot refuse the flu vaccine if they want to play again.
shareCoronavirus is the problem, not the flu.
Making money will be more important for the owners. I doubt if they'll fire multiple players who are refusing.
They are talking about banning them.
I guess flu is a problem because when you get the flu, your immune is low and you are more likely to get covid-19.
Also, flu symptoms can be confused for covid-19 so they don't want to create panic if someone sneezes or coughs.
I read there's a lawsuit to stop the ban. In the meantime, they can still play.
