US president Donald Trump told a female reporter to keep her voice down and to ‘relax’ when she asked about what his administration had done to prepare for the coronavirus in February. CBS reporter Weijia Jiang asked Trump why he waited so long ‘to warn people the virus was spreading like wildfire’ in February ‘instead of holding rallies with thousands of people’? An irritated Trump touted his China travel ban as proof he acted fast. Jiang persisted with her point and said: ‘When you issued the ban, the virus was already here,’ to which Trump said: ‘Do your research.’
After he said "Who you with?" I was expecting him to say "No, you're with CHYY-NAA." I don't know about you but I enjoy these for some reason. Popcorn entertainment.
In the sports press conferences, reporters normally state who they are and who they work for. Is this not the case or are all these reporters, regulars?
First of all, why are they asking the same question over and over again? Do they think Trump's going to change his answer? Second, although I do think the reporter does have a bit of an attitude in her voice, she's doing her job, but I question if she was told to ask this question or if she formulated herself being that it's been asked over and over again.
Finally, I do think Trump is defensive. The media on the left is a minefield that he has to navigate through every day reiterating the same questions and asking gotcha questions. It's because the media inject themselves and become part of the news, there's a lot of back and forth of useless questions given useless answers. Reporters should ask the tough questions, but they should be asking it to get information, not to make a gotcha headline.
The Tara Reade allegations are the best example of media bias. When the Blasey Ford allegations were made, every news outlet pounced reporting "heroism" and "bravery". With Tara Reade, after two weeks, only one article from NYT and even that article was edited down giving Senile Joe a pass.
They ask their formulated questions then based on the given answer formulate their own news reporting on said answer. A lot of reporters have asked how he handled it in a mediocre fashion. They should've been asking why he didn't ban Europe and not just China instead. I wonder if the ban on China put American citizens under quarantine first or they're just allowed to come on in. Wasn't sure about that. I do know the repats had to go under quarantine for 14 days at some military base before being released. It could also mean the testing weren't adequate or concrete enough to detect the pathogen at that early point in time.
That's all I had to say, since that is as far as I bothered to read of your inane post. Didn't need to read further than that - already knew it was a waste of time from Shitman.
As I said, ADD much? I mean you walked right into that one. Proven by your own words and actions.
It's a waste of time to read my posts? Yet YOU STILL CLICKED ON IT. Not only did you click on it, you still REPLIED BACK TO IT. Contradict much? Is that how you spend your free time? By VOLUNTARILY wasting it? Either you have nothing better in life to live for or you're straight up stupid or a combination of both. I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
It's a waste of time to read my posts? Yet YOU STILL CLICKED ON IT. Not only did you click on it, you still REPLIED BACK TO IT. Contradict much?
And yet I still haven't read it. That goes up your ass sideways, doesn't it ? Because I live rent-free in your head, you can't deal with me ignoring your inane posts, can you? It just eats away at you slowly.
Ignorance is Strength, innit dogdump? You said reading my posts are a waste of time, yet you constantly and continually reply to them. I'm so happy I'm here to fill your free time by making you waste it voluntarily. 🤪😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣
The female reporter is incredibly unprofessional. She keeps interrupting.
I haven't seen many with so much patience as Trump. Any regular presidential press conference, reporters make a question and let the government answer.
Trump should expel those media that keep sending journalists that don't know when to shut up and let the government answer the questions without being constantly interrupted.
She has a point though, which neither he nor the people supporting him here choose to address.
Simple question, why didn't he act sooner rather than just repeat "it's under control, everything will be ok" ad nauseam? He was clearly wrong and misleading and I can't believe that Americans of all voting persuasions are not bloody furious at him for failing them when they needed him most.
