Who the hell cares about the budget?
Reagan proved deficits don't matter.
shareDeficits are paid back with interest. That means money that could pay for building infrastructure is instead used for interest payments.
Reagan raised taxes and gave less money to states which caused layoffs and closings of things like libraries, etc. My mother was laid-off because of him. Her job was related to child safety. She and others were only rehired a few years later after a couple of children had died.
Cold, cruel & senile = Reagan
"Reagan raised taxes."
shhhhh... no one is supposed to know that dirty little secret.
To be completely fair, the Democratic majority House also was complicit in those tax increases, as well as the 1981 and 1986 tax cuts. As well as spending the tax increases (social security), that should have been set aside to pay the Boomers retiring TODAY.
Where is the "Tea Party" now?
shareSo did Obama who personally set the all time record for creation of debt doing more in 8 worthless years than the country could do in the previous 200.
The national debt increased 100% under Obama’s tutelage. 10 trillion dollars. That’s 10 million million for the brainless lemmings. And all while he established record high underemployment, record number of people on food stamps, 1% GDP.
His solution was to call unemployment funemployment, and wave a magic wand in utter cluelessness on how to turn the economy around.
Fortunately the American people elected a pro business pro America first business man with an extensive track record of accomplishment and now the world is benefiting.

Democrats have proposed 100 trillion in new spending during their unwatched debates. We pro America first, pro fiscal responsibility people look forward to your support of Donald Jefferson MillHouse Dutch Reagan Washington Roosevelt Trump and the Republican Party candidates.
share"Democrats have proposed 100 trillion in new spending"
The mattress salesman I listen to on the radio calculates it as 100 jillion bazillion.
Every Democrat promises additional spending.
Every Republican promises less government.
And I'll post it a thousand times: the Federal Government consumes 20% more of our production today than it did in 1979. I don't know why.
