To combat a formal Impeachment means that the Impeached person will have to spend time and money to market, campaign and convince the voting public that he is still electable and will not commit the offenses detailed in the Articles of Impeachment.
It clearly hurts the person that was impeached whether they are convicted or not.
I didn't need the definition bro. Impeachment didn't hurt Bill Clinton and Im pretty sure Trump will get reelected. Its all smoke and mirrors. Illusions created to keep you thinkers occupied so you won’t focus your attention on the real problems of the world. Problems that are so easy to fix if everyone would stop arguing left or right.
shareBill Clinton lost his law license and very much indeed was impacted by Impeachment over which he was found guilty of lying to Congress based on an investigation over a civil suit. The American public rationalized the situation for what it was; a vendetta to stain his presidency. As a President he was Impeached over behavior that was a personal matter between he and his wife and not over matters that actually impacted the Constitution, the Government, National Security or the ability to effectively govern.
I have no idea if Trump will or wont get reelected but he is both unfit to govern and betrayed his country and his oath to the Constitution.
The only Smoke and Mirrors is the distractions created by DJ Trump to make you believe that the problems, challenges and conditions that impact this government and the world are as bad as HE says they are just because HE says they are.
And of course only HE can fix everything. 😎
