House Judiciary Committee wants to open investigation into T-rump's "hush money payments" as early as October

The House Judiciary Committee is looking into T-rump's hush money payments to an adult film star and a Playboy playmate, whom he had extramarital affairs with, right before the 2016 elections. The investigation could begin as early as October.

The House Dems believe the investigation could provide evidence of 'high crimes and misdemeanors' conducted by T-rump, which could bring about articles of investigation. They believe key witnesses - especially Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal - will not be prevented from testifying, as the payoffs happened before T-rump was President, therefore he can not claim 'executive privilege' as he's done with many witnesses in other investigations.

An investigation could bring about an investigation?

Sounds about right.

Not exactly.

The investigation could bring about evidence of 'high crimes and misdemeanors' (and Stormy Daniels is all too eager to sit in front of Congress, finally, and testify). There's no way T-rump or Barr can interfere with the witnesses by claiming 'executive privilege' on this one - he wasn't the President when he paid hush money.

The Senate will have no choice but to act on impeaching him at that point.

They’ll just say it’s insufficient evidence.
