Trump's plan all along

President Trump is delaying ICE deportations for two weeks to give Dems & Repubs a chance to fix the asylum problem.

This was Trump's plan all along: To create leverage to get do-nothing Congress to act.

It really says something terrible about the Democrat Party that deporting foreign nationals creates leverage against them.

Demokkkrats won do anything. Hate. Blame. Complain. That’s been their plan since JFK.

reply

Observably true - but new intel has been surfaced, including the leaker at ICE.

Nice work Mr. President!

There's no asylum problem except the one Trump created. Under prior mentally-fit presidents, migrants stayed with their relatives until their hearing date before a judge.

Dummy Trump preferred putting children in cages and their parents in prisons on the taxpayers dime which is causing a problem since they are running out of cage and prison space and children are dying.

Illiterates aren't aware that seeking asylum is perfectly legal because they drank the orange Kool-Aid.

Weewee is so adorable. Keep spreading the demokkkrats lies lemming. We’ll let you in on a little secret. Your side is losing. They have no ideas, no solutions, no platform. You can keep lying about the law put in place in 1997, but it doesn’t change the facts. No cages. No concentration camps. Clinton used it. Bush used it. And Obama used it.

Best go somewhere where your endless ignorance won’t be called out. Surely the ABCNNBBCBS have chat boards for lemmings.

""In my 22 years of doing visits with children in detention I have never heard of this level of inhumanity," said team member Holly Cooper, co-director of the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic."

"Children that the lawyers spoke to described how they were being forced to care for the young children in the center, including a two-year-old who was not speaking and being cared for by three young girls after an agent asked a group of children, "Who wants to take care of this little boy?"'

"While we were denied access to speak with children quarantined in special cells for those with flu at Clint, several infants held in South Texas facilities were admitted recently to a hospital, after the intervention of doctors and lawyers. Children at Clint told us they don't have regular access to showers or clean clothes, with some saying they hadn't been allowed to bathe over periods of weeks and don't have regular access to soap. The U.S. government argued in court on Tuesday that its obligation to provide "safe and sanitary" conditions does not require it to provide kids with hygiene items such as soap or toothbrushes."

""The children are telling us that there have been over 300 children in a single room," said Binford. "If that's true, which it appears to be, then, literally, the United States is warehousing children in a 'Lord of the Flies' scenario.""

"Based on our interviews, officials seem to be making no effort to release children to caregivers – and many have parents in the US – rather than holding them for weeks in overcrowded cells sleeping on concrete floors. Nearly all of the children I spoke with had been held without any communication from desperate parents."

Pure evil!

reply

Its indefensible at this point. Yet they still continue to try to pretend the concentration camps aren't real. Its no wonder so many Trumpers are holocaust deniers.

1.) Trump created nothing of an asylum "problem" as anyone with even a child's grasp of the timeline can see.

2.) Not sure if Obozo was mentally fit, but he started the caging of children, fact.

3.) It was (until very recently with the introduction of DNA kits to ICE) imposible to tell if a child was imprisoned with their own parents or someone else's.

4.) Incarceration space constraints were addressed by Trump in using military bases, fairgrounds, all manner of domestic assets.

5.) The need to do so is directly attributable to George Soros' OSF meddling and paid caravan resources.

6.) Asylum is legal under proscribed circumstances, of which preferring OUR economy is not listed, deal.

https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/refugees-asylum/asylum/obtaining-asylum-united-states

The United Nations 1951 Convention and 1967 Protocol define a refugee as a person who is unable or unwilling to return to his or her home country, and cannot obtain protection in that country, due to past persecution or a well-founded fear of being persecuted in the future “on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.” Congress incorporated this definition into U.S. immigration law in the Refugee Act of 1980.

Reasonable Fear

Individuals who re-enter the United States unlawfully after a prior deportation order and noncitizens convicted of certain crimes are subject to a different expedited removal process called reinstatement of removal. To protect asylum seekers from summary removal before their asylum claim is heard, those in reinstatement of removal proceedings who express a fear of returning to their country are afforded a “reasonable fear” interview with an asylum officer.

To demonstrate a reasonable fear, the individual must show that there is a “reasonable possibility” that he or she will be tortured in the country of removal or persecuted on the basis of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. While both credible and reasonable fear determinations evaluate the likelihood of an individual’s persecution or torture if deported, the reasonable fear standard is higher.

If the asylum officer finds that the person has a reasonable fear of persecution or torture, he or she will be referred to immigration court. The person has the opportunity to prove to an immigration judge that he or she is eligible for "withholding of removal" or "deferral of removal"—protection from future persecution or torture. While withholding of removal is similar to asylum, some of the requirements are more difficult to meet and the relief it provides is narrower. Significantly, and unlike asylum, it does not provide a pathway to lawful permanent residence.

If the asylum officer determines the person does not have a reasonable fear of future persecution or torture, the individual may appeal the negative decision to an immigration judge. If the judge upholds the asylum officer’s negative determination, the individual is turned over to immigration enforcement officers for removal. However, if the immigration judge overturns the asylum officer's negative finding, the individual is placed in removal proceedings...

I worked in Immigration therefore I'm acquainted with the statutes.

You're confusing refugee and asylum seekers. They're not the same.

In 1996, immigration laws were drastically changed under Clinton. They became so Draconian that I found out nobody wanted to enforce many of them.

I remember a legal resident in the U.S since a young child was deported because of possession of one marijuana cigarette. Legal residents could be deported if they played poker with friends for a few dollars. Crazy stuff.

The laws related to asylum seekers were later modified by Congress to make sure that nobody whose life was endangered was deported. Congress made the credible fear standard low to give them more time to prove their case and the right to appeal to an Immigration Judge.

Only an Immigration Judge can deport someone. Trump is breaking both international and national laws because ALL persons are legally allowed to ask for asylum even if they enter the U.S. illegally. It's also illegal to hold children for more than three days in those cages or centers.

1.) In the event of a national emergency (and this is one) or war (we're being invaded) he can act as he sees fit.

2.) There are NO legitimate economic refugees, period. That is a sham excuse for people to exit poor nations for richer ones.

3.) Deportations are scheduled for those illegals here whose cases have been adjudicated and who are in violation of our laws.

4.) ICE can and will deport those here criminally at this time.

Why so many lies for someone claiming to have worked "in immigration"?

Was it as an advocate for immigrants or refugees?

reply

Nonsense! You don't understand law. You must be a Fox viewer. Or perhaps your MAGA hat has cut-off oxygen to your brain.

"2.) There are NO legitimate economic refugees, period. That is a sham excuse for people to exit poor nations for richer ones."

Like your ancestors?

BTW, are your ancestors indigenous to this continent or were they from elsewhere like Europe or Asia? I like all the Johnny-come-latelys who think they have more of a right to be on this continent than migrants who clearly are indigenous to this part of the world.

Native-American calling anti-immigrant mob illegal. So true! They scatter like the roaches that they are.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEiCbalBy2w

They should deport you first.

reply

1.) Predictable proggie ad hom for the content-free "rebuttal".

2.) My "ancestors" are legal immigrants (followed the rules and were naturalized as citizens) to this nation, none were economic refugees.

3.) None of my ancestors were indigenes - true.

4.) All "native peoples" in this nation migrated either across the Bering land/sea bridge or moved up from S. America. Making them all - MIGRANTS!

5.) Please DO come and try and "deport me first" - I welcome offering you the reception you truly deserve.

A stunningly impotent rejoinder from you, I mean I know what to expect, but frankly you exceeded the norm for hyperbolic emotional rhetoric and name calling, thanks!

reply

Native Americans didn't give your ancestors permission to be in this country. Your ancestors were illegals, land thieves and losers who couldn't cut it in their own country. Only a loser who can't cut it in the U.S. presently needs to scapegoat migrants for their own pitiful life. Most of the whiners don't even live anywhere near migrants, but they scapegoat anyway.

It's obvious that Trump likes illegal immigrants more than you since he hires them over you for his businesses! You're too simple-minded to know he's playing you.

BTW, how's that high-paying factory job that Trump promised you going?

"I welcome offering you the reception you truly deserve."
I'd be careful about the violent threats since they are a clear violation of the terms of this site.

reply

1.) Native Americans had no permissions to give, migratory vagabonds from Eurasia that they were.

2.) No one "scapegoats" migrants, we simply need to repel their invasionary forces much as the Mormons had to fight the locust plagues that beset their crops.

3.) Trump's hiring is up to his organization fool, he hasn't the time to make individual resume decisions for hired help.

4.) Should you or "they" actively engage in an attempt to "deport me" you lot will be received "warmly"...heh...heh...

reply

Your double standard won't work with me. Each European nationality claims ownership of their country: Italians claim Italy for themselves, Spaniards claim Spain for themselves, Greeks claim Greece for themselves, etc. Ditto with Asians and Africans. In keeping with the sequence, Native-Americans were here first therefore it's there land and your ancestors didn't ask their permission to be here. Therefore, YOU are illegal and need to return back to your real home.

Of course, Trump would know if his companies used e-verify to check the legal status of employees because he brought up the government website by name during his campaigning. Meanwhile, two years later, he had illegal people employees.

He also is going out of his way to hire migrants for his companies each year by applying for waivers because they work cheaper. How come you're not complaining about his not hiring Americans? How come you think it's OK for him to hire illegals because they're cheaper?

Why are you supporting Trump when he clearly hires and prefers migrants and illegal aliens to work at his companies because they'll accept lower wages?

"3 Trump properties posted 144 openings for seasonal jobs. Only one went to a US worker."

He campaigned on giving Americans jobs. When are you planning to hold him accountable for his actions or are you planning to remain a hypocrite?

reply

1.) I have no "double standard" that 's a Gavin Newsom thing.

2.) These so called "native Americans" were long predated here by Vikings - deal with facts.

3.) Trump can't check every employees papers - stop being absurd.

4.) "Trump owns companies that have sought to import at least 1,100 foreign workers on temporary visas since 2000, according to U.S. Department of Labor data reviewed by Reuters. Most of the applications were approved, the data show.
Nine companies majority-owned by Trump have sought to bring in foreign waitresses, cooks, vineyard workers and other laborers on temporary work-visa programs administered by the Labor Department."
https://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trumps-companies-sought-visas-to-import-at-least-1100-workers-2015-7
That's 58 workers a year btw, shocking!

5.) Trump's job creation since taking office?

2017:

https://www.politico.com/story/2017/08/04/economy-added-209-000-jobs-in-july-241325

President Donald Trump's claim that he's created a million jobs finally came true — months after he first made it.

"We've added ... more than a million private sector jobs," Trump said on June 1, when the Labor Department's tally was about 600,000. On Monday White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "We've created over a million new jobs since [Trump] took office," when DOL's tally was 863,000.

With the Labor Department reporting Friday that the economy added 209,000 jobs in July, Trump can finally say, truthfully, that he's created more than a million jobs since entering office.

You're deflecting.

You tell me, "whose{sic} they" - it's YOUR threat after all.

Were "government officials or workers" mentioned?

Musta missed that.

I can't advise you what to do "if" I'm "violent"...run really fast is always sound advice in those situations however.

And DARPANET has everyone's back door fool, yours as well.

Your threat sounds like it's against government workers. I would hope they expedite a violent criminal such as yourself out of the country so the rest of us law abiding citizens could stay safe.

reply

Your petty misrepresentation game causes me to think you may be an illegal.

reply

If you return to your original country then you wouldn't need to worry about illegals anymore.

reply

What make you think I have an "original country" (singular) to return to?

Furthermore if it were in Yurop it'd be every bit as overrun by murderous and rapey mudslime as the US is by central American invasionary cockroaches.

reply

You're obviously spawned from immigrants. Go back to whence you came!

You're obviously rich in pseudo-native bigotry, is the land-sea bridge still viable in the winter? Bring your ditty bag full of amulets and tobacco and learn to speak Russkie again, toodles...

Trump supporters are the ones who love Putin. Perhaps you should move to Russia.

Gallup Poll:
In 2014, 22 percent of Republicans said that Russia was an ally.

In 2016, 40 percent of Republicans said that Russia was an ally.

RealClearPolitics Washington editor Carl Cannon said the reason for the increased GOP support is related to President Trump's criticisms of the investigation of the 2016 presidential election.
