do you really think theyre going to pay somebody to sit around until midnight and then pull the plug? theyll probably be shut down during a normal working day
shareI do think they would make the transition late at night on a holiday weekend, when there's less traffic and loss of ad revenue. I'm sure a staff does watch the site 24-7.

They used GMT time. Which is 5 hours before Eastern Standard Time (NYC/DC). GMT goes through Europe. IMDb is an American company. And judging by responses to titles, a majority of the board users were American. So the decision was very odd. I guess they despise their users so much, they couldn't wait a few more hours to get rid of them.
