I have, though we didn't get far. I was writer only. We did Dave Sim's Spirits of Indepedents tour (Seattle stop) in '95. Coincidentally, I'm wearing the t-shirt from that now.

There's a podcast on the net somewhere featuring Ed Pinsent who ran Fast Fiction from his bedsit room. He goes by the idea that small press is about getting the work done and out there and profits aren't that important. His work fits that ideal as it's pretty esoteric but if you have bills to pay you can't devote much time to it.
