Looking for 2 Heavy Metal magazine stories from the early 80s?

I am looking for very sad 2 Heavy Metal stories from the early 80s
I read both these stories when I was around 9-11 and they made an impact on me.

1) was about a man who ran a traveling freak show back in the Victorian era . He and his wife provide a sort of family for the freaks until the wife gives birth to a deformed baby and he assumed one of the freaks had sex with her. He then traps the freaks in a wooden wagon and sets them all on fire.

2) was set in a tropical environment and showed a naked Adam & Eve type couple who meet for the first time. They start to kiss, but they are attacked by a group of alien like creatures (all different shapes and sizes). They set a squid like monster on the couple and it tears the man apart revealing that he is a robot.The female is captured and taken to a city where the ruler examines her and decides that she needs to be destroyed when he learns that the couple were attempting to mate when they were discovered.

The thing is the alien-creatures don't really seem evil. One of them scolds the squid beast when it dismembers the male robot and the alien leader seems more curious than hostile to the female. The story then reveals that these robots were built by the ancestors of the creatures who created them in their own image (implying that these aliens were the mutated descendants of humanity)

Any help you can give me towards finding what issues of Heavy Metal these stories were from would be greatly appreciated.
