You have god-powers to will a videogame adaptation of a comic property..

Which comic? Gameplay?

Example:

Gambit

Play as Gambit escaping from the Marauders and encountering the X-men.

He has projectile "kinetic cards" and close-range bo-staff combo attacks. Insta-kills may be performed on weakened or unalerted enemies at close-range to turn enemies into bombs that can be thrown at other enemies. Locomotion involves climbing and upgradable traversal options rooted in his powers of making things explode.

Bosses include most of the Marauders, Mister Sinister as a final boss, Sabretooth as a recurring enemy, and Wolverine (you fight him and then he helps you). Cannon fodder enemies include Morlocks, anti-mutant soldiers, Weapon X experiments, and sentinels.

I like the "you fight him and then he helps you" angle, which is classic Marvel.

My wishes...

Rat Queens.

Basically Dragon Age but with the Rat Queens.

Velvet

3rd person action/stealth/spy thriller. Showing Velvet now and going into flashbacks as her on missions as a trainee agent.

Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse.

Made as a classic point n click adventure, like the Monkey Island franchise or the more recent Wolf Among Us game. Sticking to the original Templesmith art, of course.

Starman

Sandbox around Opal City and Turk County. Jack Knight fighting foes like the Mist, Ragdoll and The Infernal Doctor Pip, as well as dealing with regular street level stuff. Also dealing with side quests from The Shade and the O'Dare family, collection quests for antiques/kitchsy stuff would be in-keeping with Jack's m.o. too.

It's hot... but not as hot as the night Johnny Viti got married...

reply

Templesmith's art would lend itself well to a point-n-click as 2-D images with lots of watercolor background.... just... the environments would be more detailed and dynamic in a game.

Batgirl

Play as the mysterious Cassandra Cain under the mantle of Batgirl.

Basic "Arkham" gameplay, but Batgirl is able to "read" types of fighting styles to adapt the player.

The game starts with either Barbara Gordon or Helena Bertinelli taking the role of Batgirl during "No Man's Land," before losing the mantle. Barbara is maimed by Joker or Helena is stopped by Batman. Cassandra starts as the runaway, her story being slowly unveiled in the first act, having her strength at a much easier difficulty.

The second act introduces Meta-Humans and Cassandra's speech center is affected, limiting her fighting abilities, and ramping up difficulty for the player. Lady Shiva becomes the primary antagonist from this point.

The third act reintroduces Cassandra's fighting-language as the player faces greater enemies and the game culminates in a final duel between Cassandra and Shiva.

Deathstroke sequel-baiting with Spoiler as Batgirl.
