The Batman 'Arkham' games - What universe?

I'm not a gamer so plead total ignorance here - but I am a long-standing Batman fan. In what Universe do the Arkham games take place? Are they supposedly connected to the Nolan-verse, or the maybe the DCAU, or do they have their own Arkham-verse?

Those games are very much their own thing. That said, I love Asylum/City/Knight and they're some of my favorite games of all time, but Origins was merely decent.

Why do they call it a "building"? It looks like they're finished. Why isn't it a "built"?

reply

Okay, thanks.

I THINK it's it's own thing....but at the same time signs of the Arkham-verse characters show up in Injustice: God's Among Us...so I don't know.

And THAT is where babies come from.

As we know, "Batman" is renown for having multiple universes. Just about each movie series, television series, video games or book series is an isolated universe. Don't let the fact that Kevin Conway and Mark Hamil have reprized their respective roles fool you, as that aspect is kind of like a borrowing of elements from previous canons.

Um, yes.
