Shinsuke Sato (Gantz, I Am A Hero, Library Wars: The Last Mission, Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror, the new Death Note: Light Up the New World) will direct.

Sota Fukushi will be playing lead Ichigo Kurosaki. Fukushi played the title role in 2011's Kamen Rider Fourze. He's also been the live-action adaptations of Say I Love You.," Strobe Edge, Library Wars and the upcoming Laughing Under the Clouds.

ehh the series is almost a forgotten one. At least its not a Hollywood anime adaptation, I don't plan on watching it. I just don't see any animes transitioning well to live action.
