Which James Bond movie do you think is the most visually beautiful?
I think it's You Only Live Twice.
shareI think it's You Only Live Twice.
shareVerily I say unto thee...YOLT by a country mile.
shareProbably Thunderball or TSWLM.
YOLT is up there, though.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service. It's the Alps, guys.
shareI'm inclined to agree with you, but then I've come to realise it's mostly because of the great shots of the Alps. If you had something like that in other Bond movies, the result might be different. In other words, it's the stuff they film rather than their skills in doing so.
Just for the skills and without regard to the countryside portrayed, I'd vote for SKYFALL (whatever Finslaw may say). Roger Deakins' cinematography is just brilliant and breathtaking and is the standard future cinematographers will have to match.

Ceterum censeo OCTOPUSSY esse delendam.
Skyfall's a good answer too. That movie's gorgeous.
shareWere you drugged out of your skull when watching skyfall???? It's the least visually interesting movie alive along with QOS.
