Did Bond refuse to look at the Vesper video in Spectre?
Because he moved on from her?
shareThe fact that he pauses and stares at it for a moment suggests that he really hasn't.
But the fact that he decides to throw it away suggests that he's trying to.
He doesn't think the dead care about vengeance. But yeah, he has to remind himself of that.
What no man Can give ya. And none Can take away.
He doesn't think the dead care about vengeance
Quantum of Solace shows that it kind of does matter to him, even if he tries to deny it.
In Casino Royale he tries to 'brush off' the impact of Vesper's death when talking to M:
"If you do need time?"
"Why should I need more time? The job's done. And the bitch is dead."
However, Bond's tone suggests he's deeply wounded from her betrayal and of course the suicide. He's already decided that he'll hunt down whoever did this. Once he gets White's number, Bond doesn't think twice. Then in QoS, Bond remains sentimental and practically talks about killing White for the entire movie... about his revenge. It's not clear if he's doing it for Vesper or entirely for himself but that's basically the same thing in the end.
The name's Bond, James Bond.
Verily I say unto thee..maybe it was from an episode of "Penny Dreadful" that he hadn't seen yet and he didn't want to spoil it.
shareNo. Bond would not enjoy watching that precisely because he never will entirely move on from her.
Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm reader.
Oh course he didn't. She was his first love and watching her being interrogated by Le Chriffe's people would have caused him a lot more pain.
Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night.
