I still only own the Extended Editions of TLotR on DVD, and only have the individual theatrical editions of The Hobbit on blu, but was wondering if there were any plans at all for a single set that has all of the Extended Editions.

I hope so, I hope they do an extended edition of the box sets as well. put all 6 in extended that would be amazing, I love these films and will never tire of them.

Those extras only exist in SD format anyway, apparently the original HD source material no longer exists so DVD is the best we can hope for. Anyway it's certain there will be a 6-film set since WB loves squeezing these movies for every penny they can possibly get from them.
shareUpdate: there is a 6-film set coming out, however there's two of them: one theatrical, one extended. Whether they'll then do a huge combo set with both versions remains to be seen. The extended set does seem to incorporate all the extras from previous versions into one though:

I'm there will be. But like others said here, it will most likely be pretty expensive. But I imagine it will come with some pretty neat stuff.
