Increasing Number Of Crazy Muggles Around Europe - The Daily Prophet

There has been an increasing number of crazy muggles that have been known to scream and explode with catastrophic effects. Fifty witches and forty three wizards (including 10 wizards from Canada and another 8 from the United States) have been caught in these "muggle curses" and have been killed in the attack.

These attacks have occurred primarily in Germany and France, but reports of these "explosive muggles" have been reported in Great Britain. Reports seem to indicate that these muggle curses can blow up with the might of a fully powered confringo curse cast by a seasoned auror.

Germany's Ministry of Magic has been speaking with the German Chancellor about the current situation and were horrified when the chancellor said the following: "it's just the way it's going to be and it's good, you will just need to deal with it, and that these incidents will increase. The wizarding world must understand and embrace diversity."

A ministry of magic muggle investigator from Hogwarts was also attacked near Kings Cross Station last night. The investigator was investigating the use of so called "drones" (muggle flying transport) when she was approached by a crazy female muggle wearing black robes which concealed everything but the eyes.

Allegedly this muggle had injected herself with a strange muggle strength potion, before attacking the victim with a large stick and screaming Arabic. 3 stupefy curses were needed before the muggle was finally subdued.

Great Britain is still bound by the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy and the ministry is urging all witches and wizards to refrain from using any magic near muggles, unless absolutely necessary.

Anti muggle groups in Germany have allegedly been planning an assassination of the muggle leader and have more support, even with the death of you know who.

Due to the increasing muggle violence near Kings Cross, additional magical law enforcement masquerading in muggle clothing will be dispatched to keep students safe as they prepare to go to Hogwarts tomorrow.
