There's a not of people who don't wanna see it and there's probably a lot who aren't watching because of it and the networks know that so why continue to do that?

The military has enough power to do anything, that was proven during the Bush years. It is a bad reflection on the military, so the bureaucrats can bribe or blackmail the ratings people to lower the ratings in hopes of stopping the protests and making the league look bad. No matter whether you want to admit it or not, the military rules America and can do whatever they want, and anyone who criticizes them is blacklisted from success
