Orphan Black is just great, only seen season 1 and 2 though
Farscape (heard only good things about it)
Never got into Doctor Who, but I know a lot of people jizz for it

I just read the synopsis for Roadside Picnic. It sounds so familiar. It's possible I read the story long, long ago. It does sound intriguing.
Also if you love "hard sci fi" then The Expanse doesn't necessarily fit. It might be close but there are some "shut your brain off and enjoy" moments. Didn't ruin it for me.
