The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind - Announcement Trailer

I always heard that ESO was a terrible game. However, I loved Morrowind. It is probably my favorite Elder Scrolls game. I might have to check it out.

I'd like it if they released the mod for Skryim that let you go to morrowind in that game...

ESO isn't like, TERRIBLE, but it's basically a World of Warcraft clone with Elder scroll's paintjob. There's very little that's not ripped from Wow's system though in terms of pre-set levelling paths, item rarity, questing, etc. Nothing like the ES games :/

I agree, the Dragonborn DLC was just a tease.

After watching more ESO gameplay videos I'm now less excited about this release.

Meh. The Bethesda that made Morrowind no longer exists. Simply going back to the island of Morrowind doesnt matter if you can't recapture to charm and magic that made Morrowind the game great.

And ESO is too flawed to fix. It would need to be an entirely new game from the ground up to suddenly be worth playing.

ESO sucked. Hard. And I say that as someone who largely loves the Elder Scrolls games. I can't imagine returning to Morrowind would be all that worthwhile.

I really enjoyed Morrowind, but ESO just didn't feel right. :/
