So... What exactly is entailed in a 'sub-Reddit'...
Cos, y'know, I'm old and I don't understand.

Anything really. There are sub-reddits for nearly everything. We could feasibly create a video game forum on the site - posts are usually organised by popularity, though that's up to individual viewers choice - and it could still welcome newcomers. If people were willing to move over, we could have a far more user friendly, modern forum (IMDb's late 90s aesthetic had character though).
It'll be no different to what we've already got, except the added control over how the forum looks and how it's moderated.
That sounds alright to me
Call me an ambulance...and not the one I just ran into
To be really faithful, someone should find a way to automatically censor swear words with *beep* the way IMDb does. I've always thought the ways regs found to get around the censors to be part of the board's appeal.
People call me a cynic. I call myself a realist.
Yes! I think OGL is probably the most knowledgable about how creating a sub-reddit works and I'm definitely up for it. I only really lurk on reddit but it also happens to be the only other website I use the same user name on.
shareSubreddits are just specific forums on reddit. They can be started by users, as far as I know. Nothing special about em, really.
They can get really specific, btw -- like /r/GirlsPleasuringThemselvesWithTusksOfLiveWalruses (Sol's a moderator on that one).
no idea, but I'm in!
