To be honest, it's kinda useless. If it has millions of signatures, they would probably consider keeping it on longer. Right now, with combination, only 16,000 signatures so far and it's only two days until the fateful day.
I'm still hopeful they will change their mind or they will return after being disabled. If it's money problem, they might as well disable actors/actresses boards, which are usually slow or dead.
You know what's funny? I actually had a dream the other night, that the 'important' box stating the boards will be disabled, never existed and everything would be normal as usual. Don't know if it's the future or the past, or my subconscious has denial problem.

What I didn't see anyone suggest is to have everyone contact the advertisers on this site and tell them all they would stop using their product/service/site if they continue to advertise with IMDb until IMDb changes their minds about shutting down the boards. That would probably get someone's attention.
