Yes, several novellas. They're harder than short stories but substantially easier than novels, for me anyway. Plotting is my weakness and there's a lot less of it.

I think they will grow in popularity. Maybe not in print, but in being downloaded. Not only are they easier to write than novels, but easier for people to read.
