What is the most cringeworthy lyric you've ever heard in a song?

Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me

S&M by Rihanna I believe.

"With an iron clad fist, I wake up and French kiss the morning." - Bon Jovi, "Bed of Roses"

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Holy sh!t 

He was my C.O. in Nam. CIA listed him as MIA but the V.A. ID'd his M.O. and put out an APB.

I actually don't think that line's all that bad by rock song standards. Plus, the "I want to be just as close as the Holy Ghost is" line is pretty great.

"Imagine" The entire song is cringeworthy.

"People are people so why should it be/
You and I should get along so awfully"

"Pour Some Sugar On Me" The entire song is cringeworthy.

Every stupid Beatles reference in stupid Oasis songs, "I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed" probably being the worst.

"Yummy, yummy, yummy, I've got love in my tummy
And I feel like loving you."

Earth without art is just "eh."

This line isn't serious enough to be cringeworty, I have no doubt it's meant to sound ridiculous.

I'm not so sure. I remember when it first came out. It was bubblegum, and meant to be light and frothy, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't intended to be ridiculous.

However, if you don't like that one, how about:

"When all else fails,
We can whip the horse's eyes
And make them sleep,
And cry"

Earth without art is just "eh."

Even as a kid, I thought that this lyric from Britney Spears' "You Drive Me Crazy" was stupid: "Tell me, I'm not in the blue, That I'm not wastin' my feelings on you."

The way is long but you can make it easy on me
