Mockumentaries like BORAT where not everyone is an actor?
Where there are people who thought it was a real documentary?

shareI can't think of any examples, but the DVD collection The Best of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is reminiscent of Borat (and IMO, is much funnier). Triumph, a wisecracking, cigar-chomping dog, conducts interviews with real subjects; sometimes they go along with the joke, and sometimes they argue with...a rubber hand puppet.
I'm not crying, you fool, I'm laughing!

Windy City Heat http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383053/ But the main character is the only one not in the know.

It's was a mockumentary mini-series about a candidate running for president. The candidate and his staff are actors but they interact with many real-world politicians and operatives that are not in on the joke.
