I expect nothing less from such a fantastic and wonderful franchise. I don't think this or the Adventure Time movie will bring mainstream 2D back, but I'm going to love seeing these in the big screen!

Not really a fan of the new MLP franchise, myself, but I am familiar with it, and it has fantastic visual potential. The simple designs and spare lines are practically art-deco. The 'return of 2D animation?' Perhaps so...
