Two completely different executions and two completely different contexts. Hans is barely a villain but he's handled much better as a character in the context of his film. Scar is definitely more of a straight forward villain and given wonderful charm by Jeremy Irons, but he isn't well supported by The Lion King's often weak writing. Honestly it's probably a wash here.
