Why is there no "Disney" message board on this site?

I kind of agree. I guess the board for Walt Disney (the person) kind of functions as such. But then, people ask why there isn't a Pixar board. And a DreamWorks board. And...... well, I think my point stands.

I kind of wish there was a board dedicated to Disney. Same with DreamWorks and Pixar.

Good question I don't know you have to take that up with imdb I am sure who ever runs these boards have never thought of having a Disney board before.

I would like to see a Disney Studio board. Because Walt Disney died in 1966, it's not really fitting to use his board for the studio output after that date.

A Disney board would be the death of the Animation board. Over half, if not more so, of the topics on this board are Disney related. Sadly, this board hasn't had much of a fan base in a few years so take away Disney and it really won't have anyone here.

There is that, yes. But, as you say, this board is pretty slow anyway, so would a Disney dedicated board be much more active? And would be dedicated to the main canon of films or pretty much everything Disney (TV channels, franchises, whatever current young stars are "hot", and so on)?

The best idea of this nature would probably be to create boards for all the major film studios (Disney, Paramount, TriStar, Warner, Fox, etc.). But those would probably end up being discussion centers for in-studio business and the like, rather than specific films.

I guess as far as Disney films go, we'll just have to stick to the boards for the individual films. But there a quite a few "general" topics that would be ideal for a Disney dedicated board — like that one about Zootopia being set in the same universe as Robin Hood, but centuries later and in a different country. But then, a topic like that would also fit on this board.
