Make IMDB Irrelevant!!!! Plan to get back at them for taking our boards.
Here's an idea, don't delete your account.. instead create many more fake accounts and vote on every movie as a 1 out of 10 stars.. doesn't matter how great it is, how much you love the movie, how much it made you cry etc etc... VOTE 1 STAR FOR ALL MOVIES/SHOWS
What will happen?
Well, once the honest votes that we usually cast are gone, IMDB will ratings will start TANKING... doesn't matter how great the movie is, IMDB's ratings will show it looking like garbage making the site even more irrelevant since the reviews wont be accurately portrayed. More people will stop going to the site since the ratings are always wrong and Amazon will have no control over it unless they decide to remove ratings next.
Think about how much we could effect the ratings if all the board members decided to do this as a mass group. Especially on any Amazon produced film.
Overall it probably wouldn't do much, but seeing as how it's currently at #181 in the IMDb top 250, we could, fairly easily, get Manchester By the Sea out of the top 250 by voting it a 1. It doesn't deserve to be in the IMDb top 250, anyway (I gave it a 6 before dropping it to a 1 a few minutes ago). And, while it wouldn't put Amazon out of business, it would certainly not make them happy to see their little vanity project drop out of the top 250 before the Oscars and after such a short time on the list. This would allow us to see if the forum users are as "small" a group as they claim. Copy this post and paste it again and again if/when it gets removed.
