Loving that this site seems to pick up momentum!

After the IMDB-shutdown, I scowered the net for alternatives and found several sites that tried to claim the throne. So I made a few test topics here and there, but so far this is the only one where I've gotten any replies to speak of. And it only seems to be getting more traffic, so this is looking all the more promising every day.

Hoping it'll also include some simple html formatting like BOLD etc., and maybe even a LIKE-button (or upvote) would be fun? And of course that you'll be able to include all the rest of the posts from Col Needhams TheIMDbMessageBoardArchive.torrent.

If things keep going this way, I'd also love it if you'd be able to import all your ratings, watchlist and regular lists from IMDB, making it possible to ditch IMDB all together.

I agree- I did the same, but only found this forum that even came close.

Heck, the guys here made the effort to continue the look and feel of Imdb!! Hope the promise fulfils!

Mods- any chance of a few bold/quote and emoticons?

I post mainly on individual boards to it doesn't bother me about The Sandbox being slow.

Sadly not happening. Latest postings: The Sandbox 2 days ago. The Soapbox 14 hours ago. The Watercooler 20 days ago. Food and Drink 22 days ago. Film General 2 days ago.

It seems lurkers went back to lurking. To bad as most of them were great posters. The sandbox is just one of the general boards. I don't think they will be populated for quite some time.
