RESOLVED: Single image tagged to multiple movies.

Example:
imdb.com/title/tt0069807/mediaviewer/rm900631808

Why was this allowed?

The problem here, and elsewhere, is that the image above has been made primary for multiple titles. When reported to be changed for a certain title it links the report to the wrong, unintended one.

Why was this allowed? Some movie collections have common images associated with them.

reply

Thanks for the reply, but you misunderstand. My purpose for this is to change the primary image of all these titles to something more appropriate; their theatrical posters. I'm not able to do that because when I report an image for a single movie that is tag-shared between several titles as inappropriate, and nominate the poster image in its place, the report gets rejected because it is linked to other titles as well.

I hope I made my self clear.

It's fixed now. One of the films did not have a alternate image so it still has the "multiple". .

Josie's Castle (1971)

Summer School Teachers (1974)

Blue Summer (1973)

Sometime Sweet Susan (1975)

It's on those 4 titles because it's a DVD cover for a DVD set of those 4 films
It should be an image on those 4 titles, but it shouldn't be the primary image for any of them

Steve,
It SHOULD NOT be an image on any film if that DVD cover does not have a photo from that film on that DVD cover.

And the site will remove it (if there is no photo from a specific title) from that film's site page when informed that it doesn't. A film title written on a multi-title video-box cover isn't an image.

Hi Les,

Actually this is allowed but this shouldn't be the primary image on the title. I've removed the image from the Summer School Teachers title.
