ANSWERED: Question about who updates PRODUCTION-STATUS (IMDB PRO?)

Today I noticed that someone recently (23rd December) updated the "Bond 25" Production-status to 'Pre-Production'. They did this via IMDB Pro I assume but who changed the status? Is it an insider or a very informed IMDB Pro user?

Also, I've checked the definition of what it means for a film on IMDB/ IMDB Pro to be called in 'Pre-Production' and it doesn't add up. If someone follows me up on this, I'll add the links to all these pages.

You see, I host a Twitter account which deals with production updates on this movie and I would be delighted to find out if this status is as official as it gets or if someone guessed the current state. Since it was edited via IMDB Pro, I assumed this is quite noteworthy!

Thank you!

The name's Bond, James Bond.

The IMDb never reveals who made any particular changes (except for where they are signed like mini-bios)

You don't have to be an IMDb Pro user to change the Production / Development Status. You can make a submission to change it back to Production Unknown or Development Unknown and give your reasons in an associated Miscellaneous Comment

Ok, thank you so much for answering!

I presume there really isn't any possibility to communicate with IMDb Staff directly? After all, it was the staff who accepted the edit request. They know things we don't...

They know, but they never tell 
It's part of their terms & conditions that they never reveal who contributed what

As for contacting the IMDb staff directly, you've already done it. Various senior members of staff keep an eye on this board and respond where appropriate.

Hi RussAgent007,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately I can't see any source to confirm this. I've removed the pre-production status from the title.

That's fine, thanks for clearing that up. I knew it had to be "Announced" and not "Pre-production" because like you said, there isn't any concrete evidence for it.
