This opening scene shows the landing of the Jamestown, Virginia settlement from both the British/Native sides. This scene could be scored in a variety of ways.

This scene depicts the last minutes of an Iranian's officer's life. He is grief-stricken from the loss of his son, and kills his wife through over medication in her tea. Now he is returning to the memories of his former country.

Animals, science fiction, outer space, superheros, scenes that give a chance for Americana scoring, usually inspire the best kind of music.

When in doubt, always chose the cuties, fluffiest one, and that's the dog.

Gotta go with House of Sand and Fog, but then, that's my second favourite score of all time so I might be biased. New World is high up on my list too, though...and Hachi, while not one of my favie scores, is probably my favourite movie of the bunch, and it's a beautiful, heartbreaking scene.
