I wouldn't worry about it. Craig Armstrong is still listed as composer; so far, the only people who said Jay-Z is scoring the film is Jay-Z, basically. I'm betting he's helping with a few tracks, doing a couple songs, much like the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack many years ago.
shareOK, thanks. Unless he's expanded to score writing which would make judgement pending, I do think Jay-Z would be great as a club impresario who does funky, catchy songs with backing from a vintage 20's orchestra.
